Strength training in the gym with weights or training with your own bodyweight can be daunting for many athletes.
One of the struggles of athletes in the gym is that there are many different exercises and variations to those exercises that it can be very hard to choose exercises for a workout program.
Another struggle for athletes is picking between single-joint and multiple-joint exercises.
With those two being big struggles for athletes in the gym you can see why it can be daunting to even think about going to the gym without a plan. On top of that you also have things like free weights vs. machines, reps, sets and frequency per week.
